Please note You need to first book a consultation & a patch test appointment, were your proposed treatment will be discussed, skin type will be accurately determined and suitability will be assessed. The Consultation costs will be deducted from the treatment price.
PRE-TREATMENT ADVICE
We ask our clients to shave the area to be treated, 24 hours before attending their appointment. However, please remember you must not pluck or wax hairs for several weeks prior to any hair removal treatment. Other techniques as threading must also be avoided - it is necessary for the hair root to remain in the follicle for treatment to be successful.
WHAT TO EXPECT?
Affected hair may appear to be 'growing' i.e. getting longer after the treatment. Those hair are dead and are in the process of being shed.
Hair tend to fall out 7-14 days after treatment.
Another extra benefit from removing the hair is gradual 'smoothing' of the skin especially in the axilla area (underarm) - this is thanks to the longer infra red wavelengths emitted by IPL which will cause (over a series of treatments) slight tightening of collagen fibres and collagenesis.
TREATMENT REGIME
Treatments are usually carried out 4-8 weeks apart depending on body area due to different growth cycles:-
Face, Underarm and Intimate area require 4 weeks between treatments.
Arms, Legs, Back & Chest will need 6-8 weeks between appointments.
Usually, there is a course of 4-6 treatments needed for your satisfaction.
